One of Jesus’ tasks in his short career with his disciples was to teach them how to deal with the dimension of the supernatural. Jesus himself healed every single sickness and disease, every lack and fear, every doubt and misgiving that crossed his path; so, when the Twelve were awestruck at his miraculous feats, it was a telltale sign that they were still in the dark about his – or rather God’s – non-local capacities.
Jesus then began an extensive training in the supernatural for the disciples to learn the whys and wherefores of the Spirit. Through becoming intimately attuned to God’s Word, they soon began performing miracles with nearly the same ease as their Master; but, alas, Jesus insisted on 100% as a starting point!
He had bigger fish for them to fry and admonished them to “Have faith in God. … For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:22-23 KJV).
