Petty jealousies will no longer lurk, Tormenting you with fear and sadness,
When brutal honesty takes over.

It’s not snakes ‘n snails
And puppy dog tails
But unchecked, unwanted phobias
That rob us of sweet tranquility.

God can use them – every one of them –
And reveal to us how amazing
Is our present Self-consciousness,
Our having attained awareness
Of our now palpitating, eternal life.
