No Me (h-m)

Was Jesus black?

There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:

  1. He called everyone brother
  2. He liked Gospel
  3. He didn’t get a fair trial
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:
  4. He went into His Father’s business
  5. He lived at home until he was 33
  6. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure He was God
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:
  7. He talked with His hands
  8. He had wine with His meals
  9. He used olive oil
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian:
  10. He never cut His hair
  11. He walked around barefoot all the time
  12. He started a new religion
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was an American Indian:
  13. He was at peace with nature
  14. He ate a lot of fish
  15. He talked about the Great Spirit
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish:
  16. He never got married.
  17. He was always telling stories.
  18. He loved green pastures.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Mexican:
  19. He treated his mama like she was a saint.
  20. He always wore llantas and a serape.
  21. He was a carpenter who could fix anything.
But the most compelling evidence of all – 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:
  22. He fed a crowd at a moment’s notice when there was virtually no food
  23. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn’t get it
  24. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was still work to do.

Jesus Buddhist monk from 13-29 yrs old

The life story of the most famous person who has ever lived is, in fact, filled with a mysterious gaping hole. From the age of 13 to 29 there is no Biblical, Western, or Middle Eastern record of Jesus‘s whereabouts or activities in Palestine. Known as “The Lost Years,” this gaping hole remained a mystery until one explorer’s remarkable discovery in1887.
In the late 19th century a Russian doctor named Nicolas Notovitch traveled extensively throughout India, Tibet, and Afghanistan. He chronicled his experiences and discoveries in his 1894 book The Unknown Life of Christ. At one point during his voyage, Notovitch broke his leg in 1887 and recuperated at the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery of Hemis in the city of Leh, at the very top of India. It was here where monks showed Notovitch two large yellowed volumes of a document written in Tibetan, entitled The Life of Saint Issa. During his time at the monastery, Notovitch translated the document which tells the true story of a child named Jesus (i.e. Issa = “son of God”) born in the first century to a poor family in Israel. Jesus was referred to as “the son of God” by the Vedic scholars who tutored him in the sacred Buddhist texts from the age of 13 to 29. Notovitch translated 200 of the 224 verses from the document.
During his time at the monastery in1887, one lama explained to Notovitch the full scope and extreme level of enlightenment that Jesus had reached. “Issa [Jesus] is a great prophet, one of the first after the twenty-two Buddhas,” the lama tells Notovitch. “He is greater than any one of all the Dalai Lamas, for he constitutes part of the spirituality of our Lord. It is he who has enlightened you, who has brought back within the pale of religion the souls of the frivolous, and who has allowed each human being to distinguish between good and evil. His name and his acts are recorded in or sacred writings. And in reading of his wondrous existence, passed in the midst of an erring and wayward people, we weep at the horrible sin of the pagans who, after having tortured him, put him to death.”
The discovery of Jesus’s time in India lines up perfectly with The Lost Years of Jesus, as well as with the degree of significance of his birth in the Middle East. When a great Buddhist, or Holy Man (i.e. Lama), dies, wise men consult the stars and other omens and set off often on extraordinarily long journeys to find the infant who is the reincarnation of the Lama. When the child is old enough he is taken away from his parents and educated in the Buddhist faith. Experts speculate that this is the foundational origin of the story of the Three Wise Men, and it is now believed Jesus was taken to India at 13 and taught as a Buddhist. At the time, Buddhism was already a 500-year-old religion and Christianity, of course, had not even begun.

Jesus was aware of dimensions

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY DOUBT THAT JESUS WAS/IS CONSCIOUSLY AWARE OF DIMENSION(S) BEYOND “THIS WORLD”?

Matthew 12:32 KJV
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew 13:22 KJV
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

John 8:23 KJV
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

John 9:39 KJV
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

John 11:9 KJV

John 12:25 KJV
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

John 12:31 KJV
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

John 13:1 KJV
Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 14:30 KJV
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 16:11 KJV
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

John 17:14 KJV
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 17:18 KJV
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

John 18:36 KJV
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Romans 12:2 KJV
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 16:25 KJV
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Jesus as us FJ

The common practice of most believers is to pursue an intellectual (academic) search for answers to validate their beliefs. For example, you refer to Jesus as God’s Son. That’s textbook perfect. What you have missed, what the natural mind cannot grasp on its own, is that you are that same Son–One Life in the Father. The Life within you (your Essence or Spirit), is the same Christ-Nature that is seen in Jesus.

We’ve never been shown in church how to let go of our identity as individual person, so we continue to believe ourselves to be separate from God. You cannot be separate from God because God is LIFE Itself. Believing alone, unfortunately, will not get you there, because believing is all done with the mind. While you are figuring all this stuff out, you might notice that within you, there is yet no awareness of your ONENESS in God, which is what Jesus came to reveal. “Father, I pray that they may be one as we are one”.

Jesus in my life

Robin, I wanted to thank you for writing so beautifully about speaking with Jesus: it is becoming part of my inquiry and meditation practice. Such Peace! Have a wonderful, blessed weekend. Much Love, Light and Gratitude to you. ☀️

Hey Colin! Always know when I don’t respond immediately it’s coz I’m overwhelmed and lack the words to adequately thank you for your kind & encouraging words. I don’t perceive Jesus like religious Christians do, and never have. But I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let them tell me I don’t have a right to everything Jesus came to give. I’ve never imagined myself sitting and chatting with a 33-year old man with sandy-colored hair and blue eyes. But I do relate to him transfigured. You know, Colin, there seems to be a most unfortunate continuum where Bible-thumping, Jesus-in-the-flesh worshiping people are at one end and “don’t-mention-Jesus’-name Hindus, Jews, etc, etc are at the other end. I wish to have this non-vision purged!
I went through a period of suspending judgement and read a lot of Jesus-as-God literature. But to tell the truth I always reserved a Goldsmith-ian “He’s God and so am I and so are you.” But the simplest little prayer-like petitions of “Jesus, help! ” and “Thank you Jesus!” never fail to bring happy results. Go, figure! :p Love ya, Colin!
