Some sacrifice necessary JSG
Undoubtedly, spiritual development is pounding away at your consciousness, or you would not be reading this book. Something of a spiritual nature is trying to break through and will not let you rest until you have attained your goal, so even if you have to sacrifice some material good at this moment in order to achieve that spiritual unfoldment, do not shrink from these sacrifices. Rather, be prepared for them because you may have to sacrifice much to attain this spiritual development, but it will be well worth every sacrifice, for when you have achieved even a measure of it you will find that you have everything else you need in the world.

The I that I Am JSG
THE I THAT I AM
On the spiritual Path you will be tempted, not a hundred times, but a thousand times, to believe in a selfhood apart from the I that I am; you will be tempted to believe that you are that selfhood, or that your son or your daughter is a selfhood separate and apart from God. Each time it will be an effort to remember: I is God; I is infinite being: I is infinite individuality. Then when you have achieved that realization you can rest – but only for a few minutes, until the next temptation comes along. You will not solve all your problems by an intellectual agreement that I is God, that I is infinite, and therefore, that I is infinite wealth and infinite health. Ultimately, that truth will solve all your problems, but not until it has been rooted and grounded in your individual consciousness.
As inspiration pours through, as the light comes in, we are lifted into a realm beyond this world; it is almost like living in a dream. But it is not a dream; it is living in reality. However, the difficulty is that every once in a while we come down to earth – we come down to earth, either because our own body starts to make a noise, or someone else’s body or pocketbook does. Then it is that we become responsible for the re-establishment in our own thought of our true identity.
The secret of discord and the secret of harmony lie in understanding true identity. Regardless of how many books we may write about it, or how many different ways it is presented, the secret is: I is God, and not man. I is consciousness, and not body. I is life eternal: It was never born; It will never die. This truth must be established in your consciousness. Each time error hits up against your thought, in one form or another, it must be rejected with that ultimate realization: I is God consciousness. That I is infinite, eternal, and all-inclusive; It includes within Itself every idea of rightness. But remember, It contains no thought, no feeling, no trace of anything less than ultimate perfection; and remember, also, all that God is, I am. “I and my Father are one.”
Every time a call comes – not only a call from patient to practitioner, but a call of the world, a claim of the world, a belief of the world, whether in the newspaper, on the radio, through the air, or through friends – work until the I has been consciously established as the reality of your being; and therefore, you know that nothing is true of you save that which is true of I.
See what happens then in the handling of problems. Problems disappear, since I can have no problems. My consciousness, which is God consciousness, can have no problems, and this truth eliminates from belief everything unlike itself. This means that there is work for us to do, as well as moments of sitting on a cloud. We really have work to do in the training of our consciousness. And that entails something else.
All of us, as humans beings, have traits of character built up by our environment, education, and experience, which do not fit in with the I that I am; therefore, it becomes necessary to take ourselves in hand and learn to govern and control ourselves so that we bring all things into alignment with the I that I am. If by nature we are fearful and doubtful, if by nature we are envious or jealous, we should not try humanly to make ourselves over; we are not going to be psychologists and say, “I have this evil trait and I must replace it with this good trait.” I do not mean that. But I mean that in the constant realization of the I that I am we recognize what seem to be our human weaknesses and we permit those traits to disappear and fade out of the picture.
We do not substitute a good human quality for a bad one; but in the realization of the I that I am, we learn to let the erroneous human traits drop away. Do not make an effort to get rid of them; but let your effort be to live in the I that I am. That will take care of everything.

Nothing external to your being JSG
As we go along you will realize, or you probably do now, that there is nothing external to your Being. It only seems to be external to your false mortal consciousness. And therefore, translate everything that is objectionable before you as world consciousness, individualizing as that particular form of objection. And you’ll find that you are not fearing it quite as much, and even in the proper identification of it there will be a tendency for it to dissolve right under your awareness of its truth.
So this situation called war, or this situation called hurricane, or this situation called supply, is only world consciousness appearing as the lack, as the war, as the disease. Get rid of those words and rest in the knowledge that world consciousness is merely approaching me in different masks and different forms and different conditions but always it is the one counterfeit world consciousness, which is presenting the good and the evil, the duality. I need to take no cognizance of them because I Am Spirit, Incorporeal, Immortal Self.

Putting On Immortality
Unawareness – Papaji
“Why this creation has been created to give trouble to so many people? Because you were not aware. The rope looked like a snake but the snake was never present. Because of your ignorance, because of darkness, you called it a snake and fear arose. On close investigation, you find there was no snake. You are going to investigate in the consciousness, where does this universe abide? Looking closely, like the snake, it’s going to disappear. Never did anything arise. Investigate who am I? Who is in trouble? There is no suffering, it’s only imagination of the mind.”

Sabotaging pause seen through
THAT NASTY “PAUSE” THAT WOULD WATER DOWN AN OTHERWISE GLORIOUS FULL AWAKENING . . :
When will we see 24/7 that staying in full focus of our spiritual awareness IS easy? We don’t have to keep fighting contrary hypnotic suggestions.
Omigoodness!! It just hit me! … That little pause that comes right after a full revelation presents itself in which I see the full answer clearly … that darned pause in which mortal mind rushes in to water down the full revelation and start saying “No you can’t …” … that pause must be shattered to smithereens … or, said differently, awakened from!!!

From gnawing havoc to Sabbath Rest RJS
You have an unwanted
H O O K
don’t you? It’s that one condition, memory, person, incident that never quits pulling you back into separation and duality.
“It” gnaws at you whenever it can slip into your subconscious and wreak havoc on your otherwise pristine spiritual awareness.
You’ve got an impressive list of ‘facts’ that the other person(s) should know about and you can’t quite let it go: you’ve “got the goods on” your enemy and can eviscerate him any time …!
You’d be doing the world a huge favor, right?
But your conscience says “tread lightly” so you tread not at all….
Lies must be exposed!!!
Maybe so, but not by you.
Not now. Prolly not ever.
You’ve chosen God over “the goods”. You’ve made a good choice, now you must REST your case, leave the REST of the dilemma to the I that includes sweet REST for the heavy-laden and enter your loving Sabbath REST.

Complete Surrender JSG
A COMMITMENT THIS GREAT BRINGS GREAT RESULTS
I surrender; I surrender every material obstacle, every mortal and human obstacle, everything that stands between me and God. In Thy Presence is fullness of life. I surrender every desire that I have ever had. I surrender every desire but one; all that I seek is Thee. Let me be in Thy Presence. Thy grace is sufficient for me – not Thy grace AND health, or wealth but Thy grace alone. I surrender the desire for person, place, thing, circumstance, or condition – even my hope of heaven. I surrender every desire for recognition, for reward, for gratitude, for love, for understanding. I am satisfied with Thy grace. If only I can sit here and hold Thy hand, I will never ask even for tomorrow’s breakfast; I will fast the rest of my days. Just let me hold Thy hand and I shall never hunger; I shall never thirst. Only let me hold Thy hand; let me be in Thy Presence.

Blaming ppl = sowing to flesh. Stop it. JSG
In holding someone in condemnation, you are sowing to the flesh and you will reap corruption, but in not blaming another you withdraw from that sowing. Now acknowledge that no one on earth, in heaven, or in hell, has the power to restrict, harm, or influence you in any way. Now acknowledge that all power resides within your Soul, and you will again be sowing to the Spirit and you will reap freedom, peace, and harmony.

Living The Infinite Way
Who the hell is Hell for?
It is often said the Jesus spoke of Hell more than anyone.
And yet Paul, having received his revelation directly from Jesus, never once spoke of Hell. Why?
It has to do with audience relevance.Jesus came as a Jew, and as a witness to the Jews.Jesus predominantly focused on hell (gehenna) in his teachings and parables to illustrate the coming destruction of Jerusalem.
The Old Covenant of the mosaic law and sacrificial offerings was rapidly approaching its demise. It was not God’s intention to destroy any people, but to obliterate a distorted belief and sacrificial system that God abhorred. Those who remembered and heeded Jesus’s teachings on hell, escaped the horrendous death that was handed down by the Romans.
Paul’s mission was different. Paul was an ambassador for Christ to the Gentiles. He brought the Gospel into full disclosure and transparency. Paul showed us an incredible All inclusive Jesus, who valued everyone above no one, and no one above everyone.
Paul never spoke of Hell, because there was no hell to be found. Instead he taught that Christ was in the world reconciling us to the Father. The Apostle Paul minced no words, if there was a Hell to be feared, he would have been all over it.Again , look at his audience.
Certainly if Hell was a real and viable contender, then it would have been relevant to the Gentiles. After all, were they not the ones in darkness? If Hell was not a priority or even a subject for Paul; Then who in the Hell, is Hell for?!!!
