HOW I CAN HELP & HOW I CANNOT:
Lately I’ve been realizing that when it comes to imparting to others HOW THEY CAN HEAL THEMSELVES, I have a great deal to say on the subject. The main point is that I personally have no special ability in being someone that one can lean on. I ONLY KNOW HOW TO ENCOURAGE THE ONE IN NEED TO TAKE A COMPLETE STAND FOR HIMSELF, as that’s where the problem lies. I have never been more sure of anything.
It is a tremendous temptation to want to find someone who will help to lift the burden – to do anything except FULLY AND COMPLETELY COMMITTING ONESELF TO DOING THE WORK. The temptation is to tell someone in detail all about a problem, thus filling their own mind and the mind of the would-be helper with the exact opposite of what they’re seeking. I for one don’t ever want or need ANY DETAILS WHATSOEVER as to what another person is “going through”. I can talk till the cows come home about how turning one’s thinking over to divine Consciousness completely changes a person’s life but I literally DO NOT KNOW how a halting, halfway position could bring anyone their desired results. I just don’t know – I guess that if someone got some help that way, they’d probably have many other issues needing attention very soon thereafter.
Everything that I have said above has NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH WHETHER OR NOT TO USE MEDICINE, DOCTORS, PSYCHIATRISTS, HOSPITALS: not a word. My feeling is do what YOU DEEM BEST – what will get your mind off of the problem so you can use your precious heart and mind to listen as the Holy Spirit speaks to YOU !!!

BLOCKING ALL THE BARRIERS TO MIRACLES
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this to you or not but one thing that keeps ‘working’ for me – turning all forms of evil upside down is when I get to the point of declaring with every fiber of my being:
“I don’t care anymore at all. There’s something more important to me than anything else. It’s even more important than my human life. I don’t want to hear anything else whatsoever. I would (and pretty much did) give up everything, bar nothing, to have nothing but (spiritual) Consciousness. [Some noise intrudes] No! I’m gonna tell you the same thing every time and that is No! I’m not listening to you! The thing that’s so different about this is that I REALLY, REALLY MEAN IT … FOREVER !!”

Work in own consciousness
Remember this always: in order to establish that peace which is beyond comprehension in you, the work must be conducted in your very own Consciousness to make it so. Put differently, only you—no book or other person—can forge an opening in your Consciousness so that the still small Voice becomes a consciously experienced (known) Presence within your own Consciousness. Knowing this, failure to do the needed work will be all of your own doing, and so too will be the corresponding results. The key is in your hands! Now it’s up to you whether or not it’s put to use.

It is far easier to accomplish anything in the human world than in the spiritual because in the spiritual world you and I are called upon to “die” before we can attain what we are seeking.

Love-hate relationship w religion JT
You love religion. Then you hate religion. Then you love to hate religion. Then you begin to realize its utility, and so end up hating that you once hated religion. Then you start hating those that hate religion. Then you realize they are you, like 6 months ago.
Eventually, you stop obsessing over who does what, and appreciate the different stages people are at, and realize that most are not doing anything bad on purpose. Then you regret not being kinder to those who were, as far as their journey is concerned, a step and a half or less behind you.
My advice? Stay ahead of the curve, and just be kind. You’re not better than someone else because they are still thinking thoughts that you used to think.
