Religion will teach you to believe.
Truth will cause you to see

Religion will have you read a book.
Truth will have you read your heart.

Religion will try to convince you of God.
Truth will introduce you to divinity.

Religion will point you to historical figures.
Truth will point you to the timeless, formless spirit within.

Religion requires a ritual.
Truth requires attention.

Religion is dualistic and divides
Truth is universal and sets free.

Religion tries to control and uses guilt from the past or the threat of punishment tomorrow.
Truth changes us by being a present tense experience.
