I have found Herb Fitch to be one of the most inspiring and spiritually illuminating teachers ever on the subject of personal transformation. He studied under Joel S. Goldsmith, and in my opinion, courageously took Joel’s message all the way to its inevitable conclusion.

“As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze. [10] A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.

I am gobsmacked! Unspeakably grateful! I’ve been listening to inspirational material day and night for quite some time now – stopping only long enough to do the exercises recommended. In the past I would stop occasionally for a little break of mindless TV, but not anymore. [You see, I had emphatically asserted that I WANT IT ALL – all of Spirit and no matter. Poof! The TV quit on me! So it’s just inspirational now.]
Finally I determined it was time to do something about the TV, but first I’d give it a metaphysical treatment:
“God didn’t create a material universe, nor a material TV, nor a person named Robin wanting to fix said TV. I am omnipresent Spirit and all that I can experience is perfection.” (Or something like that!)
Then I looked at the three remotes that I use with the TV and thought it’s been quite some time since I had gotten it all set up and didn’t even know which one to use first or what buttons to press.
So, what would an inspired person do? More metaphysical treatment: “I am the very presence of God. I have the mind of Christ. I’m not even concerned about what occurs or doesn’t, my whole Being is all that there is!”
It would have made more sense to start with the cable remote control – or the TV one. But I found myself reaching for the DVD remote.
I pressed one button – out of the blue. In that exact second, the TV came on loud and clear, instantly, perfectly!
This may seem insignificant, but the message is huge: once I realized my own omnipresence, the carnal mind disappeared.

THE COMFORTER
The world cannot accept the Spirit of truth because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
John 14:17
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. LIFE ETERNAL = KNOWING GOD ARIGHT

You will have your own ‘hidden manna,’ your own ‘fountain of living waters.’ You will be taught by the Comforter within. You will go through different, but related experiences, all testifying to the Truth of what these great Masters taught. The Spirit of your own Being will bear witness to the truth of what they taught. This is the path to freedom, to Life Eternal, and we who have made a certain degree of effort in that direction will find ourselves well rewarded.

Why should you have the experience of perfect Life if you’re willing to accept less, or if you are willing to deny that perfect Life? And so we were given the gift of perfect Life. If we cannot accept it, that is our problem and our only problem. Slowly, you learn to accept perfect Life. You learn to smile at the appearing iniquities. You learn not to be involved with the difficulties that beset you. You learn not to resist the so-called evils, because you are being faithful to the perfect Life and saying, “There is no other than you; I am seeing the shadows, and I will not respond.” And all of this is necessary if you are to witness the kingdom of heaven on earth. And then “the pure river of life, clear as crystal,”47 the One Consciousness, is the only Consciousness that you are. What else can it show forth but its perfection? The shadow of a second consciousness is gone; the human ego is no longer there. You have been crucified to the false mortal self and resurrected unto I, the One, the Only.
